Kirk McCarley has over 37 years of experience as a Human Resources Executive in both public and private sector environments. Enthusiastic while also contemplative, determined, yet relaxed, his passion is to help clients celebrate self-confidence and achieve full God-given potential. A graduate of the University of North Texas, he is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) as well as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and SHRM-CP Certified. He is also a Production Assistant for both college football and basketball for ESPN, leads group cycling classes (Spinning), and writes a column for his local paper.
Kirk's coaching approach is predicated on 4 A's: Aspire-Assess-Affirm-Act. First, the client has sought a coach as they aspire to find a direction or discover a new direction. Next comes a client assessment: what is the current situation, how would they like it to be different, and what talents and abilities, tools and resources are available to get there? Third, Kirk works with the individual to develop a plan that affirms the client's best attributes and helps with formulating a strategy for goal achievement. Finally, Kirk coaches the client to act on the execution of that strategy.
Kirk's pledge to his clients are that they: 1. Are heard. 2. Grow in confidence. 3. Find their passions personally and professionally. 4. Identify "calling;" establish vision. 5. Distinguish between being right, being effective, and learning to become effectively right. 6. Accept perceived obstacles as launch pads for opportunity. 7. Rejuvenate ways to motivate beyond self-set capacities. 8. Encourage love and respect. 9. Build a legacy for others to follow. 10.Live life so that remembrance is standing room only.
