I typically meet with individuals both virtually and face-to-face over a 4 - 6 month period. Early in the process, together, we define both the targets and measures of success. We also focus on those skills, such as self-awareness, self-reflection, conscious action, and discernment needed for personal mastery. A key tenet of my approach is that genuine self-knowledge and feedback are the source of one's leadership impact and effectiveness. Throughout the process we experiment with new ways of thinking and new patterns of behavior to achieve optimal results.
For the past 30 years, I have partnered with senior executives, leadership teams and entire organizations to navigate their critical challenges while building the working relationships, organizational dynamics and leadership capacities required to achieve and sustain success. Significant employers and clients include Motorola, Fidelity Investments, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Eaton, Honeywell, Johnson & Johnson, Robert Bosch, Ascension Health, and Unilever. I hold a B.A. and M.A. degree from Miami University in organizational communication, and a second Master's degree in Counseling Psychology and Organizational Studies from Boston College. I have also taught organizational behavior and leadership courses for Texas A&M University, Northeastern University, Stonehill College and Oakland University. I am an accredited Associate of the Institute for Independent Business, where I received additional training as a business coach.
