Many people think that coaching is future oriented and therapy is past reflection. For some, moving forward requires reviewing and reframing the past, so in my work, I do both. Thirty-five years ago, when I completed co-authoring a book on stress management, I began to see clients, mostly by word-of-mouth referral. Coaching wasn't a well known "thing" yet, so I called my work, and still call my work, Personal Growth Consulting. My training is eclectic as is my work. Despite having a Master's Degree in Literature, I learn best in workshop and seminar settings. I have a long list of things I've studies, from Guided Imagery and Music, to Breathwork, Meditation, Memoir Writing and more. I've been told I'm authentic and engaging, a teacher as well as a guide, counselor and coach. I love my work and enjoy collaborating with my clients as they evolve into better versions of their authentic selves. I work with individuals, couples and families, helping them to better understand themselves, their temperaments, their strengths and their place in the world.
