My name is James, and I am a Certified Professional Life Coach, though I like to refer to myself as a Positivity Coach. Like many people, I have experienced difficult times and seemingly insurmountable challenges. When the first chapter of my adult life culminated in moving to my parent's above garage "bonus room" following my divorce, I felt like an utter failure as a husband, father, and man. Negative thoughts and pessimism dominated my life. I succame to bone-weary depression, and I lost my will to move forward. Something desperately needed to change. Slowly, excruciatingly slowly, I began picking up the pieces of my life and learning who I was after my self-identity was stripped away. Through many trials and errors and more than a few ups and downs, I found myself. I changed my outlook, found my life partner, gained perspective, discovered my happiness, and built a successful business. I made mistakes, learned from them, and ultimately became the best version of myself.
Since retiring from my business, I've committed to helping others find a better version of themselves. Through my coaching, I help people become happier, healthier, and more successful as they discover the power of positivity and perspective.
