I work with couples that are struggling in their relationships and have lost their connection over time because of the stresses of life, distractions of many obligations and not prioritizing their relationship to nurture it and now find themselves in a crisis. The average time a couple will wait to seek help is 6 years and sometimes by then they think it is too late and there is no hope.
I always encourage my clients that it doesn't have to be that way! They can find their way back to each other and learn to work through any problems, issues or difficulties and rekindle the love that brought them together in the first place. I work with married, engaged and dating couples and help them understand that love is a choice and an action word, not just a feeling.
In my Stay in Love for a Lifetime Program I share tools that reengage couples with each other by learning to communicate effectively, resolve any conflicts, meet each other's needs and let go of any hurts and damage to their relationship that have occurred over time through learning how to forgive and dump the baggage. I also help them to create vision for their relationship through understanding their purpose and creating goals together to walk in unity and work as a team.
My background is as a Pastoral counselor with a Doctorate in Christian Counseling. I have been a Relationship and Life coach for the last 12 years and am passionate about building successful marriages and relationships.
I know personally the agony and pain of a broken marriage. Through my personal journey to recover and heal from that loss, I know the power of forgiveness and the faith walk to be fully restored and find love again in a blissfully happy marriage. My clients will tell me repeatedly that I make them to feel comfortable, at ease and that I create a safe space by listening well without judgement and giving them the tools they can use to identify the root issues in their relationships and resolve them is a solution focused way.
